Is a coach house a tiny home or a mobile home?
No. It is a permanent dwelling on a foundation. We only use “tiny” when we are talking about the 282 sq ft Student, and even then it is a code-built house.
When should I order?
At least 7 weeks before you want the home installed: 6 weeks to build and 7 days to install. The slab is poured during those factory weeks. In practice, apply for permits in the spring. The Build Season page has order-by dates.
Other provinces
British Columbia, Alberta, and Atlantic Canada are not researched here yet. Tell us where you are on the quote form and we will keep a list. We will not publish rules we have not checked.
