From factory to keys
Two tracks run at the same time. The home is built indoors while the slab and services are prepared on your lot. Delivery is 6 weeks from order. The on-site install is 7 days.
Factory track

Your home is never rained on while it is being built. Rain, snow, and freeze-thaw do not stop work inside the plant. We do not have a Canadian percentage for that weather advantage, so we state it as a reason, not a statistic.
Site track
Permits (we prepare drawings and the submission), servicing, and the insulated slab-on-grade pour happen while the factory is building. The Ontario Building Code allows a foundation above frost depth when it is designed against frost action.
On set day a crane lifts the walls and roof onto the slab. The shell is closed in during the 7-day install, then finishing and inspections, then keys.
Permits are not inside the 6-week clock. The slab is poured during the factory build. See Build Season for when a pour is comfortable in your region.
